Verdict: The Scott Choose-A-Sheet 6 double-roll pack is $6.84 live on Amazon.com — $1.06 per 100 sheets for 648 sheets (6 rolls × 108). The Sparkle Pick-A-Size 6 double-roll pack is $8.48 live — $1.28 per 100 sheets for 660 sheets. Sparkle gives you twelve more sheets and costs $1.64 more, so you pay about 21% more per 100 sheets. Both ship and sell from Amazon.com. Our catalog has Scott right at $6.84. Sparkle still shows $20.67, which is $12.19 too high today.
I cover home staples from Austin, and I checked both pages with an Austin 78701 delivery address this morning. I am not running a spill test or counting how many sheets it takes to dry a skillet. Same job: tearable paper towels for a kitchen counter. The question is which pack costs less per sheet when both are six double rolls from Amazon.
What it is
Scott Choose-A-Sheet (B0DF8RSVJK) is six double rolls, 108 sheets per roll, 648 sheets in the pack. Choose-A-Sheet means you can tear a half sheet. Live one-time price $6.84 against a list of $8.59 (about 20% off). Amazon prints $1.06 per 100 sheets. Shipped and sold by Amazon.com, In Stock, 4.6 stars from 48,380 ratings. Our catalog card matches at $6.84.
Sparkle Pick-A-Size (B09NW92T8Q) is also six double rolls, listed as 660 sheets total. Pick-A-Size is the same tear idea under a different name. Live one-time price $8.48 against a list of $11.59 (about 27% off). Amazon prints $1.28 per 100 sheets. Shipped and sold by Amazon.com, In Stock, 4.7 stars from 56,165 ratings. Our catalog card still says $20.67. That number would make Sparkle look like a bad buy even against Bounty. Live, it is cheaper than the card, and still more expensive per sheet than Scott.
Who it's for
Buy the Scott pack at $6.84 if you want the cheaper sheet from Amazon today and you are fine with Scott's thinner everyday towel. Half-sheet tear matters for coffee drips and kid snacks. If you go through towels fast, two Scott packs are $13.68 for 1,296 sheets — still a better sheet rate than one Sparkle.
Buy the Sparkle pack at $8.48 if you already like that brand's feel and you want the slightly higher rating blob, or if Scott is out of the size you need. Twelve extra sheets do not erase the $1.64 gap.
Who should skip
Skip Sparkle if you opened our catalog and thought $20.67 was the live price — it is not. Skip Scott only if you already know you want a thicker quilted towel and you are willing to pay for it; that is a different shopping trip than these two six-packs. Skip both as a lone order if you need free shipping and you are under Amazon's free-delivery threshold with nothing else in the cart.
Honest nits
- Our Sparkle card is stale. Live is $8.48, not $20.67. Scott's card is current at $6.84. Always read the per-100-sheets line Amazon prints under the price.
- Sheet count is close. Scott 648 vs Sparkle 660. That is not a bulk win for Sparkle. It is twelve sheets.
- Brand feel is real; fake absorbency charts are not. Sparkle has a half-star higher average and more ratings. I will not invent a milliliters-per-sheet number. If you already hate Scott's thinness, buy what you will actually use.
- Both are Amazon buy boxes today. No third-party seller surprise on either card when I checked from Austin.
Value verdict
Buy the Scott Choose-A-Sheet 6-pack at $6.84. At $1.06 per 100 sheets it beats Sparkle's $1.28 by about 21%, and our catalog is not lying about Scott. Skip Sparkle at $8.48 unless you specifically want that brand — and ignore our $20.67 card until it updates.
Is twelve extra sheets worth an extra $1.64 and a worse unit price? Not in the kitchens I stock.
