Analytics

Google Analytics (measurement ID G-VXSQJTBSCQ) loads on every page, but it sets no cookies until you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Before that, and after “Reject”, it runs in Google's Consent Mode with storage denied: Google can still receive a cookieless signal that a page was viewed, without an identifier that links your visits.

If you accept, it sets cookies beginning _ga. They give each browser a random identifier so repeat visits can be counted as one visitor. They do not contain your name or email. We never turn on Google's advertising storage.

Site preferences

Your chosen Amazon store region is kept in your browser's local storage so the site does not ask again on every page. Your answer to the cookie banner is kept there too, under tdh-analytics-consent. Neither leaves your device.

Amazon

Following a product link takes you to Amazon, which sets its own cookies — including ones that attribute the visit to us for commission. Those are Amazon's, governed by Amazon's policies. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Turning them off

• Every major browser can block or delete cookies for a specific site from its privacy settings. Blocking ours will not break the site.
• To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
• If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as “Reject”: analytics cookies stay off and the banner does not show.
• To change your answer, use this button. It removes the stored choice and our _ga cookies, and shows the banner again: Change cookie choice
