I have read Rachel’s Game Changers series after Heated Rivalry aired here in Canada. I have never been so emotionally connected to a story as I have with this series. So far this is the last book but she’s working on the next in the series. Don’t read this until you read Heated Rivalry. This nicely ties the story up from where the previous one left her characters. As with the others the characters are immediately loveable. The raw emotion that exudes from the two main characters is palpable at times bringing me to tears. It sounds mushy but is you haven’t already fallen in love with Shane and Ilya I think you might not have a heart. Also the ‘spicy’ parts are still a bit of a thrill. This story is a rollercoaster as it continues their life journey. Rachel gives these characters great depth. How they feel. Why they feel as they do and the surrounding story and supporting characters that make this such a beautiful love story. If Heated Rivalry captured your imagination this will just continue to have you love Shane and Ilya as if they were your closest friends. And, the hockey is a bit of a bonus.
