Anker Nano 13-in-1 Dock Review: Clever Detachable Hub, Mirrored Mac Displays
Anker's A83C3 dock pops out a travel hub and runs three 4K screens on Windows. macOS mirrors those screens. I would buy it on sale, not at $150 list.

Verdict: The Anker Nano 13-in-1 dock with a detachable hub is a clever two-product idea. It is not a CalDigit. Mac users need to read the cloned-display caveat. Pay sale price, not $150 list.
Price notes: Gizmodo had Amazon at $112 (list $150) on August 11, 2026. 9to5Toys saw $104.99 during Prime Day in June. I do not have a same-hour buy-box for August 22, so I am not printing today's dollar amount. If you still see ~$110, that is the buy. At $150 I would shop a simpler hub.
ASIN B0FCLC1RMM, model A83C3. In the box: the dock, a 3 ft 10 Gbps USB-C upstream cable, and a 140W power adapter. Front: 10 Gbps USB-C, headphone jack, and the pop-out hub. Desk mode: two HDMI + DisplayPort for up to three 4K/60 displays, Ethernet, USB-A, SD/TF, 100W PD to the laptop, 140W input from the included brick.
The trick is the ejectable 6-in-1 hub. Hit the release and you take USB-A, USB-C, SD, microSD, plus — once detached — HDMI 4K/60 and a USB-C PD input Anker rates up to 100W (hub itself sips up to 15W, laptop gets the rest). It is the first dock I have used that I would actually throw the small half in a backpack.
The Mac caveat Apple will not put in the Amazon bullets
Anker's own listing says that on macOS, external displays are identical — mirrored, not three independent Spaces. That is a DisplayLink / MST / macOS reality, not a secret. If you are a Windows or ChromeOS user who wants three 4K screens, this dock is in the conversation. If you are on a MacBook Air and you think you are buying a Studio-style three-monitor desk, you are not. I have hit this wall on every cheap USB-C "triple display" dock since 2019. Read the line. Then decide.
PCWorld's review also noted charging is less generous than the wattage on the box suggests once everything is plugged in, and the portable hub's data ports are 5 Gbps, not 10. That matches the spec sheet if you read past the headline. I will not invent a "94W at the barrel" number I did not measure on my meter this week.
Who it is for
Hybrid workers who want one SKU for home monitors and a Tuesday coffee-shop hub. Photographers who live on SD cards. Anyone tired of buying a $40 hub and a $100 dock that do not talk to each other.
Who should skip
Mac users who need two extended 4K displays — look at Thunderbolt docks, not this. People who only need HDMI + USB-A + PD. A $65-class 140W GaN brick plus a $40 6-in-1 hub is less clever and often more reliable.
Build is compact (about 3.7 × 1.6 × 5.5 inches, ~2.1 lb with brick in the system). The 140W adapter is the thing that makes the box feel heavy. Leave the brick at the desk. Take the hub.
