I own several other backpacks, mostly Osprey, but none of them maximise the new RyanAir allowance. I got this one because it was cheap. And it does, indeed, fit a good amount of stuff. It's also the most uncomfortable bag I've ever owned. I didn't fill it to its max capacity, and it wasn't particularly heavy (no laptop or books - just clothes and toiletries), but it still did a number on my back. It doesn't distribute the weight like better backpacks do, so all of it sits on your shoulders.I've just got back from a trip and have another one booked next month. I had intended to use this bag for all the flights, but am now planning to take it to the charity shop. The extra bit of storage doesn't make up for the discomfort.
