We had tiny flies appear not long after repotting a succulent in fresh new indoor houseplant soil. I didn't want to use a spray, so looked for other solutions and found this. It was perfect for my needs and in 10 days had trapped approx 21 little flies. They seem to have been eradicated now but I've changed it for a new one just so I can satisfy myself that they're all gone.The sticky area itself measures approx 2.5 inches high and wide, with a 2 inch non-sticky spike. The sticky bit is double sided. Just peel off the backing on both sides and insert in the soil. They're designed in The Netherlands and the packaging says they'll last up to 3 months and are made of 100% recycled plastic. Great product at a great price. Buy with confidence!
