picked this up as a simpler alternative to a full CCTV setup and it’s actually been pretty solid. setup is straightforward, app walks you through it and you’re up and running without much hassle.build quality feels good. solid casing, weather resistant, and it doesn’t feel like a cheap outdoor cam. mounting is simple enough too.video quality is decent. 2K is clear enough to see what’s going on, wide angle covers a good area and night vision is usable, not amazing but does the job.battery side is convenient. no wiring is a big plus, but obviously you do have to remember to charge it, especially if motion alerts are frequent.performance is reliable. notifications come through quickly, live view loads without too much delay, and the app is easy to use once you get used to it.only downside is it’s not quite a full CCTV replacement. you’re relying on battery and app/cloud features, so it’s more about convenience than hardcore security.also, like most of these, some features are tied to subscription.for the price though, good value for money. easy way to add some security without going all in on a wired system.
