Wrap the floss around your middle fingers, leaving about 2 inches between your hands. 3. Hold the floss tightly between your thumbs and forefingers. 4. Gently insert the floss between your teeth, using a back-and-forth motion. 5. Curve the floss around the base of each tooth, making sure to go below the gum line. 6. Move the floss up and down to remove plaque and debris. 7. Repeat this process for each tooth, using a clean section of floss for each one.
