I wouldn’t call myself a Morrissey fan, I own a couple of Smiths albums, You Are the Quarry and California Son. The latter (Guardian one star) is my favourite covers album.I’ve always taken an interest in his music though, and the more he is despised by the Establishment the more I like hime. So I was interested in this, but wasn’t expecting much at this stage in his life, and mine, and listened to it on Spotify when it became available.I was pretty blown away by it to be honest, it really spoke to me, moved me at moments, and I immediately bought the blue vinyl.
