Excellent traction on ice and easy to put on. I previously used a pair of Stabilicers which also worked well but were a struggle to put on. For size 12 hiking boots, I ordered the extra large. They fit just right. They come with a storage bag that might be useful for off-season storage but is too small to insert icy crampons in regular use.
