Sturdy, heavy duty product. Works nicely with the thermostatic control plug unit. Came with enough connectors which were easy enough to work with in order to secure the cable to the roof and gutter. Our roof is metal. I expected it to be more difficult. The connectors are adaptable to suit circumstances. We had a valley situation that created ice dams. The first freezing snow was seen melting around the cable.
