As with everything else she does, Rachel Goldberg-Polin excels as a writer and narrator. Her poetic, lyrical prose are enhanced by the authenticity of her voice as she reads her words; voice trembling with pain and emotion. I've never heard an audiobook narrator cry mid-chapter, but Goldberg-Polin's heart laid bare adds depth to every story, every philosophy, every excruciating detail she recounts. There was never any doubt her book would be extraordinary, but she delivers in this beautiful book as, we've come to know, only she can.
