This is a very good brand of chai latte. It may not be for everyone, but I think it really hits the spot in terms of tea flavour, milk, and sweetness. I know a lot of people have said it’s too sweet, but it’s really is a matter of taste or preference. If it’s not sweet enough, you can add more sugar yourself. If it’s too sweet, dilute it with a bit more hot water.For me, it’s fine the way it is, if a little too unsweetened. Overall, though, I don’t mind it.I’m not sure what people expect of a chai latte. This isn’t exactly a top drink for many people. But I’ve tried many varieties, both store-bought and what you might find at a Starbucks or a Tim Hortons. Of those, this brand compares very well with either of latter. As for the former, that runs a wide gamut of either too spicy, not spicy, too sweet and not sweet. So taking all that into an account, I definitely think this really has the ideal balance, and probably the best brand of chai latte that I’ve had overall.I have to take off a half a star for the packaging which really didn’t seem to be in great shape. It wasn’t open, but it looked a bit beat up, but nothing inside seems damaged. On the other hand, considering that it arrived before New Year’s Eve, they get their full star back.The drink itself, though is worth four and a half stars, if not five. I don’t think it’s completely there yet but, the same time, it’s probably the closest to the perfect chai latte you can get so I’m giving it the full five.
