About This Product

After four years, Rob Zombie is back with new music as he announces his latest record, THE GREAT SATAN, out on Nuclear Blast in 2026. The new music brings Zombie back to his Hellbilly roots with frenetic cuts such as “Punks & Demons,” “Heathen Days,” “(I’m a) Rock ‘N’ Roller” and “Tarantula.”

Customer Reviews Summary

If you're still waiting for Rob Zombie to top Hellbilly Deluxe, he likely never will; not even it's sequel, Hellbilly Deluxe 2 did that. However, I'd say this is heavier and more enjoyable than that one. If you enjoy those albums, any of Rob's previous albums and/or White Zombie, I think you'll enjoy this album. It is non stop heavy metal fun, complete with Zombie's penchant for good use of samples. In this day and age, dominated by hip hop and pop trash, this album's real rock 'n roll is a breath of fresh air. It may not be Rob Zombie's best album, but if you enjoy his best albums, you'll enjoy this one too, so I'd say it's among his best. I don't see anything to be disappointed about. If you're expecting some kind of overly profound, deeply meaningful lyrics, you won't find that, but you won't find that in any of Rob's material, so I don't know what you're thinking, if you're expecting that. Last but not least, this album has great artwork and liner notes, as Rob is known for. This isn't some cheap release in a cardboard slipcover. It's got a jewel case and a book with many pages, drawings, and lyrics. It's worth buying/owning for your Rob Zombie collection. To the guy who gave a bad review because his album arrived wet, don't give the album/Rob Zombie a bad review for that! Contact Amazon and get a replacement! That's no reflection of how good of an album Rob Zombie made and brings down the rating for his album, making people think it's not good.
