Customer Reviews Summary
A mid-April release date... I forced myself to do my taxes first before I could read this, and I got through them in record time! So thanks for the motivation! What an amazing book! As always, Daniel and Ty deliver compelling plot, realistic and touching characters, and incredibly drawn locations and scenes. This series so far is the full package... entrancing, absorbing, and incredibly well-written. (As another reviewer noted, definitely read "Livesuit" before this one for some useful context.). One aspect that I especially enjoy is that the different aliens are, well... alien -- not humans in costumes. The drama as our human protagonists slowly begin to understand the culture of the Carryx is riveting. The other client aliens start to come to life in this book in new and interesting ways. It's super fun to read but also thought-provoking and insightful. What a ride! This is absolutely fantastic and original work. When's the next one coming out? Can't wait!
