These masks stay on well. They don't fall apart so are much better than the average blue throwaways. These I have worn at least 3 times if I'm in a place I'm unsure of the air quality. I have huge allergies to dust and these have saved me in the DIY stores in the lumber department. They don't have any smell that I noticed.
