The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a good SUV but it's got horrible reviews on the lighting for night driving.The stock Phillips bulbs are akin to lighing a candle and attempting to drive with that same light. Add to that winter conditions where the roads are wet and dirty, guess what happens to those candle light lenses?Removing the old bulbs are actually easy, look for the large plastic conical cover inside and remove that, then using one hand swap out to these LED's. It's a bit of a task but doable.These 9012 LED's are the perfect bulb for this SUV, it goes from the 1900s' in terms of lighting right into 2022 LED style.No fan on this one, the design keeps it cool even in summer time at least this is what they say.I've had no flickering what so ever which was an issue with another brand and no issues with lights on the dash.I'm also SUPER happy with the light these throw, while not super far as in not more than 100' down the road, the color is what is excellent, the road, the shoulder and the other lane are now easy to see even when the lenses get dirty and that is the whole point.Safety first.I will say this, I went with 5K color, next time if there is one, I'll go with the 6K.My thoughts...I'd buy these in another heartbeat and trust them over the stock bulbs.
