Very good salt. Contrary to what other people have said in reviews, you do not need a samurai sword to open the bucket. You just have to peel the first part around the lid and pull it up. I suppose if you mess that part up it would be difficult to open. But I did not have this problem. I had a katana prepared just in case. This melts snow quickly and lasts a very long time I have gotten multiple uses from the same salting after small amounts of snow on the salt trails. I also mix with sand occasionally for immediate traction and it works very well. Also decent price compared to other options
