I havent had a chance to test out how long the battery lasts. Though it did charge from dead within a few hours and it jump started a completely dead battery with no struggle. Turned right on. I also like the green light that comes on when it's ready to jump as it shows a good connection was made. Something you'd definitely want in your vehicle if it has a history of dying on you, or just to be safe
