I have been reading about the benefits of tallow for hydrating skin and thought trying it out on my dry lips would be a good place to start. I was not disappointed. It goes on very smoothly with no waxy texture. It feels like it melts into your lips providing a soft and moisturized finish. I have worn it under lipstick and before going to bed at night.
