For use with deciduous, flowering, and evergreen trees and shrubs, these plant food spikes are also great for acid-loving plants too. Apply once a season in early spring and mid-fall for best results. To use, gardeners should thoroughly water the ground around the tree or shrub's dripline (as illustrated on the product label) before placing the correct number plant spikes aound the drip line, spacing each spike at least 3 ft. apart.
