Wow! What a roller coaster! This book was incredible, heart warming and all round beautiful!I didn’t know who Jess and Norma were not having TikTok or being a huge social media fan. I saw this book on bookstagram and from there watched some of their videos and was hooked! They connected with me instantly as my nan was my close person too! She died from Covid at the tail end and I miss her every day!This story is written like a conversation and that really worked well, it had me laughing out loud many times throughout and also sobbing in places, my gosh when Jess described her nan and her home as the safe place she returned to at tough times, I was in bits as have always described my nan and her home exactly the same. Also the crinkle cut chip comment was a belter 🤣 Norma had the best sense of humour that I think passed onto Jess!If you are looking for a heart warming hug in book form then look no further! This book will make you feel like the pages have wrapped you up in the warmest embrace, with heart warming moments and humour weaved into every chapter throughout! It will tug at your heart strings and make you want to cherish those you love that little bit tighter!I rarely read a book twice, in fact I don’t think I ever have but this book, this book I would re read whenever I wanted to feel better! To be up lifted! Absolutely beautiful, five stars and beyond. Worth every penny! Well done Jess and Norma 🩷💙
