We’ve been using a Diaper Genie since our baby was born, and these refills are just one of those “add to cart on repeat” items. Nothing glamorous, but absolutely necessary.🍼 They do the jobThe plastic is strong, doesn’t tear easily, and most importantly — it keeps the diaper smell contained. Even when the pail is full, you don’t get hit with that awful diaper funk unless you open the lid (and even then, it’s not that bad).💡 Pro tip:When replacing the bags, I pull out a bunch of the liner at once and tie off the bottom before placing it back in. That way, I’m not fiddling around while holding a messy diaper in one hand. You get better at it after a couple diaper changes in the dark 😅♻️ Longevity:Each refill ring lasts us about 3–4 weeks, depending on how often we’re changing diapers (we’re in the 6–8 changes/day phase right now). It claims to hold a bunch and honestly, it does.💰 Yes, it adds up, but it’s worth itCould you use kitchen trash bags and save money? Probably. But I’ve tried that and immediately regretted it — didn’t seal in odor, and it was messier to deal with. These refills just work, which is what you want when you’re running on no sleep.Bottom line:If you already have a Diaper Genie, just get the refills. They’re a little pricey, but they’re super convenient and way better at trapping smells than anything else I’ve tried. Worth it for the nose-saving alone.
