I needed a watch for hiking & cycling. I am not a runner. This watch is great for all activities. Although aimed for runners it is excellent for walking, hiking & cycling. Not too bulky and light on the wrist. The menu is fully customisable so you can taylor it to your activities. The app is good. The sleep log is fantastic. Long battery time between charging. If use a walk activity so see how far you have gone etc is uses GPS that does use a little more battery but not excessively.It even has elevation reading. I would recommend looking at Garmin's own video to guide you through set up. Then you can taylor it nicely.
