These bulbs were required for a bedroom which is now doubling up as an office for working from home. The original bulbs in the ceiling light (3 down spotlight fixture) weren't bright enough for office work and caused eyes to struggle to see paperwork clearly. These bulbs have put an end to this, I have installed 3 of them into the light fitting and it is now bright as day in the room. My son (who it is for) can see clearly whilst doing paperwork and using the computer and he feels less tired due to not have to struggle working in a dim light. The light is a white type of light, close to daylight and is suitable not just for home working but anyone who likes to craft, knit, read, or needs a bright natural light. The bulbs are LED which means they do not get hot whilst in use, unlike the older halogen type. This for me is a must as my son has the lights on continuously, all day and into the evening, I now do not have the worry of them over-heating or worse. They are bright, so if this is what you require or are looking for, I can definitely recommend them. These bulbs light up instantly when switched on, they are not dimmable and they fitted into the light fitting with no issues at all. I bought the box of 10 which will last me for ages at an excellent price, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and the price I paid, the natural bright light which the bulbs produce is just what was needed.
