Metal Church are back with the heaviest slab they’ve dealt in some time. Featuring a new lineup of veteran titans: Brian Allen (Vicious Rumors) on vocals, David Ellefeson (Megadeth) on bass, and Ken Mary (Fifth Angel, Flotsam and Jetsam) on drums. Kurdt Vanderhoof maintains his signature writing of simple riffs made pummeling. A fantastic comeback record if ever one was written. While most of the Metal Church congregation would’ve loved to have seen this release with Mike Howe, Brian Allen does a wonderful job of filling those larger than life shoes. A fantastic release that can’t really be compared to others as Metal Church has stubbornly refused to be placed in any one box since day one.
