These are fantastic go-to guitar strings. I'm a causal player and have no need for fancy metals and windings, but I do like reliability and durability. D'Addario's a good and trusted brand, and at such a cheap price I don't really see a reason for me to get anything else.As for gauge, I personally love 10-46 on my LP style guitar (same as the stock ones). Super easy to bend after a few days of the strings stretching and loosening up.
