I honestly didn’t expect to like this as much as I do, but the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser really surprised me, in a good way. I have combination skin that leans oily, and I’ve tried way too many cleansers that either dry my face out completely or don’t clean well enough. This one actually hits the sweet spot.It’s super lightweight and foams up nicely without feeling harsh. I use just one pump and that’s more than enough for my face and neck. It leaves my skin feeling clean, but not squeaky or tight like some other foaming cleansers I’ve tried. It just feels fresh, like it got rid of the grime without stripping my skin barrier.What I really like is that there’s no strong smell. It’s fragrance-free, which I appreciate because my skin can be sensitive to perfumed stuff. Also, no breakouts or weird reactions since I started using it, which is rare for me when trying something new.I’ve been using it twice a day for a few weeks now, and my skin actually looks calmer and less oily during the day. It doesn’t work miracles overnight or anything, but for a basic, reliable cleanser that does what it’s supposed to do without overcomplicating things, this is easily one of the better ones I’ve tried.I've used the Cereva SA but it's not effective as a stand alone for sylic acid. I use Paula's Choice BHA as my exfoliater because it absorbs into your skin and actually exfoliate and you'll see it work better and better as your layer of new skin gets use to it and then I use Cereva foaming cleanser to clear my skin and feels freshIf you’re looking for a solid everyday face wash that just works, I’d definitely recommend giving this a shot.
