Ich nutze Cat’s Best Original mittlerweile seit längerer Zeit und bin absolut überzeugt davon. Ich habe davor viele verschiedene Streus ausprobiert, sowohl mineralische als auch andere pflanzliche Varianten, aber keines kam an dieses heran. Das Streu klumpt zuverlässig, riecht nicht künstlich und hält das Katzenklo wirklich lange frisch.Die Saugkraft ist erstaunlich gut. Selbst nach mehreren Tagen bleiben die Gerüche komplett gebunden und man merkt sofort, wenn man es mit hochwertigem Material zu tun hat. Die Klumpen zerfallen nicht und lassen sich problemlos mit der Schaufel entfernen, ohne dass viel sauberes Streu verloren geht. Dadurch hält der Sack deutlich länger als vergleichbare Produkte.Ein weiterer großer Vorteil ist die Ergiebigkeit. Man braucht weniger Streu aufzufüllen, weil es nicht so stark verbraucht wird wie mineralisches Streu. Zusätzlich staubt es kaum, was für mich ein wichtiger Punkt ist, da meine Katze eine empfindliche Nase hat.Dass es komplett pflanzlich und kompostierbar ist, finde ich ebenfalls sehr positiv. Es ist leichter zu tragen, besser für die Umwelt und riecht selbst frisch aus dem Sack angenehm neutral.Auch meine Katze nimmt das Streu sehr gut an. Keine Probleme mit den Pfoten, kein Überwinden beim Betreten der Toilette und auch kein unangenehmes Stauben beim Scharren.Für mich ist Cat’s Best Original inzwischen das Streu Nummer eins. Hochwertig, sauber, sparsam und zuverlässig in der Geruchsbindung. Ganz klare Empfehlung für alle Katzenbesitzer, die etwas suchen, das wirklich funktioniert.
