This is probably considered the entry level of the iPad's but it is really great. It will handle anything you throw at it. I have games, my Netflix to download and watch movies during my lunch and magazine subscriptions, all works great. Battery life is amazing, I can go days with daily usage without charging. I upgraded to iOS 26 today which may be a problem with battery life due to all the new features of that OS, but for now, this is a great unit and I got it almost $80 less than what Apple was selling it for during Prime Days, so if you always wanted an iPad or want it for a gift and can wait, dont buy until Black Friday when I am sure it will go down again, so if you get it less than what Apple is selling it for, then its a great buy. The "new" screen size is great too (My old iPad had a smaller size screen and you can really appreciate the new improved screens of the current models). I am very happy with it. Just make sure you get a good case and screen protector. The unit is slim and without a case can slip from your grip easily and I dont think it would survive a fall without something cracking.
