As someone who usually sticks to the 'big' name brands, I was pleasantly surprised by the consistency of this JAYO 1.75mm Silk PLA Bundle. The dimensional accuracy seems spot on; I didn't experience any clogs or under-extrusion throughout several multi-hour prints.Technical Notes:Winding: The spools are neatly wound, which is critical for these smaller rolls to prevent tangling mid-print.Adhesion: I used a standard PEI sheet at 60°C and had zero issues with warping or lifting.Temperature Sweet Spot: While the box suggests 200-230°C, I found the best results at 215°C on my printer. At lower temps (around 190°C), the layer adhesion was a bit weak, but bumping it up solved that completely.Minor Con: Silk PLA is notorious for 'stringing' if your retraction isn't dialed in. I had to increase my retraction slightly compared to my standard PLA settings to get clean travel moves. Overall, it's a fantastic value bundle for anyone looking to add some flair to their hobby prints.
