New formula! Naïf SPF 50 mineral sun cream provides the skin of babies and children with instant protection from UVA and UVB radiation. Since we use a mineral UV filter based on zinc oxide, it does not need time to act, so you can immediately go into the sun. In addition, the products are waterproof. Of course, it is still important to re-cream yourself after a trip into the water. How does mineral protection work? Minerals such as zinc oxide form a protective layer on the skin that reflects the sun's rays. Ideal for baby's and children's sensitive skin. Zinc oxide can have a drying effect on the skin. So that we can avoid this, Naïf sun cream contains natural oils that moisturise and soften the skin. For maximum protection, we have added a non-mineral booster to our mineral sunscreen. Minimal impact and maximum protection. A tip from us: if the skin feels dry after a sunny day, you can use an after-sun or nourishing cream after washing the skin. We advise to keep babies out of the sun as much as possible, especially in the first year. If this is not possible, Naïf sun protection products are ideal for the sensitive skin of a small baby. All Naïf products are made with natural ingredients, are vegan and dermatologically tested. Our sun protection products do not contain microplastics. We do not use the following ingredients: oxybenzone, octinoxate, octocrylene, avobenzone. Shake the sun cream well before use. Apply a generous amount of sunscreen and spread it well over the body and face before your child goes out in the sun. Don't forget to cream the ears (and behind), the hands (and in between) as well as the neck, as these areas are often overlooked! Our sun cream protects immediately, no exposure time. Apply a new layer of sunscreen every two hours and after swimming to ensure optimal protection. Zinc oxide, water and sun can have a drying effect on the skin. To prevent this, we have added natural oils to the sun cream. Do you still notice dry areas on the skin? I was looking for a spf cream that is not only working well as protection for my toddler but that has no chemical filter as it is healthier for kids skin. I am more than satisfied with this one. He has dermatitis and sensitive skin but this cream doesn't cause any brake outs or rashes. It is a bit thicker but it is normal with mineral spf. What I find great is that it doesn't leave any greasy residue on the skin, it absorbs great. It is waterproof so you don't need to reapply so often. And most importantly it doesn't look white on skin once it is well spread. Most of mineral creams do leave white residue. I bought the stick as well as it is compact and handy to have in bag at any time.
