The thrash metal legends Exodus start 2026 with more bite than ever! In doing so, the band welcomes Rob Dukes back to their ranks with this album - legendary frontman Rob Dukes (first heard on Shovel Headed Kill Machine in 2005) returned to EXODUS after eleven years of absence in 2025 and now delivers the performance of his life. Goliath is EXODUS' most collaborative work in the now four decades of band history and contains songs from several band members as well as guest contributions by Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) and violinist Katie Jacoby. Goliath lives up to his name: the sinister opener "3111" strikes first. st eecinster-dissonant chords before the breakneck thrash thunderstorm begins. As an ode to one's own inconstancy, "Hostis Humani Generis" captivates with Dukes' haunting vocals that open up sharply like crystal splinters over frenetic riffs before the album transitions into "The Changing Me." Its introductory notes build up to simultaneously threatening and melodic goosebumps rhythms and form one of the band's most hymnical pieces with high screams as well as clear vocals by guest musician Tägtgren and harmonic dual riffs of guitar legends Gary Holt and Lee Altus. "Promise You This" heats up the moshpit mood with explosive energy, stormy riffs and Holt's turbocharged solos before the colossal title track "Goliath" throttles the pace with sinuous nasty leads, formidable drums and Katie Jacoby's ominous violin in conjunction with complex guitar parts.
