I set mine up attached to a timer to ensure they’ll run without any interference.That said, it’s more of a light-duty solution. It’s great for smaller plants, herbs, or keeping plants healthy, but it’s not the strongest light if you’re trying to grow larger plants or expect fast growth. Build quality is decent for the price, but nothing premium. Great for starting seedlings which is what I was looking for.Overall, it’s a good, affordable grow light that does the job for basic indoor plant care and starting seedlings —simple, convenient, and effective within its limits.
