I was nervous about it being refurbished and held onto the packaging for a while in case the battery was junk. I love this vacuum and so glad I took the chance on a refurb because the cost difference for brand new is insane. I’m a vacuum-a-holic, I was a house cleaner for years and have gone through my fair share of vacuums and love buying different ones to see how they fair… for my home I’d purchased a different, off brand cordless and it was terrible. Normally I prefer shark and so I gave this one a shot and I can clean my whole house on one charge (1700 square feet). This vacuum is also great for my entrance way heavy duty carpet with deep groves that hold onto the road salt we bring in on our boots. It’s great for Carly and hard floors. Only downside is that it doesn’t pickup debris very well when it’s up against the wall, but ya can’t win ‘em all.
