I've had Dyson's, Vax's and others over the years, but this Shark vac is certainly the best, most innovative, of the lot. Brilliant for the stairs, having only the motor unit/dust collection container to carry.Easy to empty the dust container.Suction incredible, as had vacuumed the week before purchase, with another make, yet dirt collection unit had to be emptied twice, for 2 rooms! Wife and daughter both have long hair, but clearing the roller is aided by a channel in the roller, enabling scissors to be used to chop through the hair, plus all the threads (wife's sewing machine the culprit). Good crevice tool with mini brush attached, plus vacuum driven mini brush unit. Takes a little getting used to how each part separates, but no other problems.
