I find most protein bars either taste too chalky or overly sweet to cover up the chalky protein taste. I find these to taste nicely balanced. It is very similar to a Mars bar and a little like a Snickers if it had fewer nuts. Most of the texture is like the nougat in a Mars bar, soft, whipped and chewy. I like that these are high in protein, low in sugar and gluten-free. I think most of their products are gluten-free. Best to check the label. The overall cost is not bad considering how much protein you get and the low sugar content. Most regular chocolate bars have less than half the protein and a ridiculous amount of sugar. I find these to do the same job at conquering hunger when you're looking for a snack, and they're roughly the same price as a store-bought chocolate bar. And as a Canadian, I'm happy supporting Canadian products like these. I'm looking forward to trying other flavours.
