When I first picked up the large 700ml bottle of Garnier Micellar Water, my initial thought was that this huge size meant I was getting great value, and I was so ready to ditch my harsh makeup wipes. I was immediately impressed with how gently it glides over my sensitive skin; it literally feels just like water and removes my everyday foundation and eyeliner with almost no rubbing, which is a huge pro, especially around my delicate eye area because there's absolutely no stinging or irritation. However, one con is that for stubborn, true waterproof mascara, I do have to hold the cotton pad on for several seconds and sometimes go over the area twice, so that one-swipe claim is a bit exaggerated for heavy makeup days. Despite that little hiccup and the occasional slight stickiness it leaves behind if I do not follow up with a quick splash of water, this stuff is a perfect, affordable, everyday pre-cleanse or a quick, easy way to remove the day's dirt, and I highly recommend it to anyone with sensitive skin who wants to be done with irritating face wipes.
