I can't believe it's actually this affordable to echo-proof a room. I would imagine those professional studio isolation foams are better at perfectly blocking off sound, but these things are still quite amazing for the price. They cancel out echoes, make my room sound much quieter and offer a much cleaner audio quality for any sorts of recording.And to all the reviewers that gave a 1/5 star because they received damaged or squished foam panels, read the manual! It clearly tells you to soak the foam in water and dry it. What amazes me is that it says to soak for 15 minutes, except I only had to soak them for 30 seconds in order for it to regain back it's perfect form.Also, I didn't even bother using any of the adhesives that came included. Buy yourself some T-Pins and watch a YouTube video on how you can carefully nail and hang these on your wall so they never fall off.And if you're expecting these to block off loud music and yelling for your neighbors, it won't if your walls are thin and made of wood. Even professional studios with isolation pads have concrete walls behind it! These things just help eliminate echoes and the vibrations it will cause which will reduce the amount of noise your neighbors will hear. From what I tested, if I speak normally and use a keyboard, my neighbors don't hear me. If I talk loudly, yell or play loud music, they hear it, but it's muffled. So it does help even for very loud noises.
