I've had the Etekcity E9000 scale in silver for exactly a year now, and it's absolutely wonderful. I've been using food scales for many years at home, both for cooking/baking, and for helping track calories as part of a healthy diet, and this is the best scale I've ever had.It's accurate, well constructed, the screen is brightly backlit and recessed so you can actually see it under your plate or bowl, and the numbers are large and easy to read. It has only two buttons, but that's a good thing: using it is really simple with no unnecessary features that just waste power. (BTW, for those who don't know, if you hold the on/tare button for a few seconds, it will shut off. Great for saving batteries when you're done using it.) Speaking of batteries, I've been using it multiple times a day, every day, for a year, and I have yet to need to change the battery it came with.Another important detail is that even though the weight plate is metal (the rest is plastic despite what it looks like in some pictures), it remains accurate even when weighing very hot food. I've had a couple scales in the past that would start to lose accuracy a few seconds after placing a hot plate or bowl on them. Makes it really annoying to weigh something piping hot like soup or food you just blasted in the microwave.Absolutely the best bang for your buck. I recommend this exact model to everyone.
