About This Product
Sandfall Interactive, Kepler Interactive and Laced Records are banding together to bring Lorien Testard's breakout soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to vinyl and CD. This 8CD set includes the complete 154-track digital soundtrack and 23 bonus tracks, including fan favourite "The Manor - Our Painted Family". This release features many of the in-game music mixes, and all music has been specially mastered for the CD format. The music in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is pivotal in driving the emotive story that enraptured players have fallen in love with. Most tracks were written and recorded at Testard's home studio, with a selection also performed and recorded by the prestigious Curieux Orchestre at Midilive Studios, Paris. Testard's debut score is a musical painting that supports the game's Belle Époque setting. Among many others, the leitmotifs in "Alicia" and "Lumière" are woven into the fabric of the game experience, capturing the grief and hope of the characters and the beauty of Lumière. Central to the appeal and effectiveness of the music are the lyrics and vocal melodies of Alice Duport-Percier-the lead voice and emotional heart of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's many vocal tracks. Joining Duport-Percier are vocalists Victor Borba (singer on Devil May Cry 5's "Bury the Light") and mezzo-soprano Axelle Verner. Verso voice actor Ben Starr also sings on the moving "Until Next Life". The digital soundtrack holding the No.1 spot for six consecutive weeks on Billboard's Classical Chart and Classical Crossover Chart is testament to the power of Testard's musical storytelling, making these Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 physical soundtracks a must-have musical companion for any expeditioner, RPG fanatic or video game music connoisseur.

Customer Reviews Summary
I purchased a turntable 2 weeks ago, just for this!I received both CDs and LPs last night, so i haven't been able to give it a listen yet, but it's the weekend, and it's been on my phone for months along "Nos Vies en Lumière" & "Verso's Drafts" digital downloads, so i know what to expect, just even better quality! The LPs came protected in a cardboard box, for anyone worried of getting the corners chipped. I'm glad it did because sadly it did sustain some minor damage on the front upper left side. The weight is pretty massive, its a very thick carboard outside box that holds all the discs, the material is the same as the hardcover artbook that was released last month, it's a very high quality boxset and the artworks on the sleeves are amazing. As for the CD version, each sleeves and discs also have a different illustration, some that i even never seen either online or in the official 300 pages artbook, so it's a very nice bonus for me!No wonder it won Game of the Year, for someone from humble beginning as a guitar teacher that was discovered on Soundcloud, Lorien Testard deserves all the awards and fame he received at The Game Awards and for composing this masterpiece that has now taken a very high spot in my game soundtracks all time favorites.I also believe Alice Duport-Percier was without a doubt, the best choice for main vocals, her voice is filled with emotions and it really takes you on a musical journey you wont forget!
