Customer Reviews Summary
Coming from a old school embossed label maker, this thing is way better. Labels print easy, stick on easy, and stay on pretty darn well. Certainly stay on much better than the old label maker, mostly die to them being much thinner.Pro-tip: I used to pick a corner of the labels to get the backing off before sticking them on something. Instead split the backing down the middle; much easier to work with, and precut by Brother anyway. Took me too long to figure this out :).I see some reviews saying the batteries don't last. I guess they're doing a ton of labels all at once. For me personally, I just label stuff as it occurs to me to do so, and I think I've used half the initial label paper it's come with so far without changing the batteries yet. Make sure you're using alkaline batteries, not those garbage carbon-zinc ones and I think the batteries are perfectly adequate. I'm assuming they need 6 because they need higher voltage, but then I don't get why they dont use 9v batteries instead.. Oh well. The price is great, the quality is perfectly adequate, and the labels are excellent. Just wish it wasn't so many batteries..
