adidas adilette slide review – june 17, 2020-i bought my first 2 pairs in may of 2019, and over a year i ended up sticking with 4 prs from a variety of vendors: amazon.ca, adidas.ca and tradeinn.com from spain. colors kept were the all-black, white/navy, black/ white, and the true blue/ white. i did also buy the navy/white and red/white, but preferred the true blue over navy, and did not like the red color.-color complaint: the red that you actually will get is a bright pinkish red. that is not the red you see on the webpages as advertised.-sizing: my actual shoe size is a 10.5 mens. because these slides are made kind of tight, i ended up sticking with a size 11 and these are a proper, perfect fit with socks and barefoot. size 10 when i bought, was too tight to wear with socks, and tight with barefoot.-if you cannot try on in an actual store, for your comfort and peace of mind and if you aren't sure, play it safe and order a size up and down, then try at home and return the pair that doesn't fit. believe me, it will save you a lot of aggravation. So for example if you are shoe size 10 mens, get a 10 and 11 in the slides. the same if you are a half-size, say shoe size 10.5., order a 10 and 11 in the slides.-another complaint i would have is, i wish adidas made more colors. and also, it is hard to find what color and size you want. often times inventory gets sold out. as of june 17, 2020, i hope that adidas will continue to make the adilettes, it is an amazing slide. the reason i bought 4 prs was in case adidas stops making this product.-what i like: this is a one-piece slide so the entire slide is made from a good quality rubber material that dries quick, with no stink that comes from foam/cloth materials on other slides. the slides will break in within a week or two of consistent wearing,, so they may seem a bit rigid at first. also the slides are easy to clean.-where/how i use: i use the slides at home as a slipper. very comfortable and keeps my feet and socks clean and dry from the floor. these are also great as a shower slide because they dry quickly.i do wash the slides as needed to keep them clean. i like to use dish soap and a brush, scrub gently, rinse and the slides will look great for many years to come. personally i do not use the slides outside although they are designed for outside use.-the adilettes imo are more comfortable than the duramo slides. style-wise, i like the old school look of the adilette over the sportier, modern look of the duramo. understand that the adillette is a narrower build than the duramo which is a wider build.
