soundcore P20i Is $20.99 Live — P30i Hits $24.99 for ANC While Our Catalog Still Says $19.99 / $22.24

Live Amazon buy box: soundcore P20i is $20.99 (our card still says $19.99). P30i with adaptive ANC is $24.99 (our card says $22.24). Same Anker pocket job — $4.00 for ANC, stand case, and BT 5.4.

Verdict: The soundcore P20i is $20.99 live today. The soundcore P30i is $24.99. That is $4.00 for adaptive ANC, a case that doubles as a phone stand, Bluetooth 5.4 instead of 5.3, and a longer case battery claim. Our electronics cards still say $19.99 and $22.24 — both a little low vs the buy box. I would keep the four dollars unless I can name a commute or open office where ANC is the job.
I cover consumer tech from San Francisco. I am not posting a decibel lab. I am asking whether four bucks for Anker's ANC step-up is the upgrade, or whether bass earbuds with a lanyard case already close the tab.
What it is
The soundcore P20i is Anker's bass daily-driver true wireless set: 10 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, IPX5, two mics with AI call pickup, 22 EQ presets in the soundcore app, about 10 hours in the buds and 30 hours with the case, plus a compact case with a lanyard. Live buy box today: $20.99 against a list around $39.99. Sold by AnkerDirect, ships from Amazon. In stock. Amazon listing blob: about 4.4 from roughly 116,000 ratings. Our catalog card still shows $19.99 — stale by a dollar. Trust the buy box.
The soundcore P30i is the ANC sibling: adaptive noise cancelling the listing pegs around 42 dB, transparency mode, BassUp on 10 mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.4, IP54, four mics for calls, up to about 10 hours without ANC / 6 with ANC in the buds and 45 / 25 hours with the case, and a 2-in-1 case that folds into a phone stand. Live: $24.99 against a list around $49.99. Also AnkerDirect / Amazon, in stock. Listing blob: about 4.3 from roughly 43,000 ratings. Our card says $22.24 — $2.75 under live.
Same brand family. Same pocket job. One is bass earbuds. One adds ANC and a stand case. The only question is whether that stack is worth $4.00.
Who it's for
Buy the P20i at $20.99 if the job is podcasts, gym playlists, and a case that clips to a bag — not blocking a BART car. App EQ and Find My Earbuds are already on this card. Confirm AnkerDirect is still the seller.
Buy the P30i at $24.99 if you can name the noise: open office, plane, train, street. Adaptive ANC plus transparency is the reason this SKU exists. The phone-stand case is a bonus for a hotel bed movie, not why you should pay four dollars alone. Do not buy it because our site still says $22.24. That number is low today.
Who should skip
Skip the P30i if you only opened the tab for a stand gimmick — four dollars of ANC math should not hang on a hinge. Skip the P20i if ANC is non-negotiable and you will hate passive tips in a loud cabin. Skip both if you needed over-ear isolation or you already own a pair that still holds a charge. Skip a marketplace seller that is not AnkerDirect if that is who you meant to pay — today's boxes are AnkerDirect via Amazon.
Honest nits
- Catalog is soft on both. P20i card $19.99 vs live $20.99. P30i card $22.24 vs live $24.99. I am quoting the live Amazon buy box for October 3, 2026 only.
- The gap is $4.00. That is a coffee, not a Liberty Pro. The decision is ANC + stand case + Bluetooth 5.4, not a different sound signature class.
- ANC claim vs P20i. P20i listing leans passive tips and big bass. P30i listing leads with adaptive ANC (~42 dB) and transparency. I will not invent a subway meter reading. If you cannot name the noise, you are paying for a feature you will leave off.
- Playtime math. P20i: ~10 h buds / 30 h with case. P30i: ~10 h / 45 h without ANC, less with ANC on. Case capacity is the P30i win on paper; your commute length decides whether you feel it.
- I will not fake a lab fit score. Tip fit decides bass and isolation on both. Both ship tip sizes. Neither is a custom mold.
Value verdict
Buy the P20i at $20.99 for bass earbuds that stay in the budget lane. Buy the P30i at $24.99 if ANC is why you opened Amazon. Buy neither on a stale catalog card — live is a little higher on both.
Worth the extra $4.00 over the P20i? Yes, if adaptive ANC is the point. No, if you wanted cheap bass and a lanyard case.
