Blukar Headlamp 2-Pack Is $13.49 Live β€” LHKNL 2-Pack Hits $15.99 With the Bigger Battery for Long Denver Nights

Live Amazon.com: the Blukar rechargeable headlamp 2-pack is $13.49 ($6.75 per lamp, IPX5, USB-C). The LHKNL 2-pack is $15.99 ($8.00 per lamp) with a bigger listed 1500mAh battery. Both of our catalog cards are wrong.

Verdict: The Blukar rechargeable headlamp 2-pack is $13.49 live on Amazon.com, or $6.75 per lamp. The LHKNL rechargeable headlamp 2-pack is $15.99 live, or $8.00 per lamp. Blukar is $2.50 cheaper for the pair and has the better listed water rating (IPX5 vs IPX4) and USB-C charging. LHKNL's case is a bigger listed battery (1500mAh vs 1200mAh) and a longer listed runtime. Our catalog cards are both wrong today: LHKNL shows $9.97 (live is $6.02 higher) and Blukar shows $64.53 (live is $51.04 lower).

I cover sports and outdoor gear from Denver, where the sun drops behind the Front Range early in October and a lot of trail runs, dog walks, and campsite chores end in the dark. I checked both Amazon pages this morning. I haven't run a lumen meter or a runtime test on either lamp, so every brightness and battery number below is what the seller lists, not something I measured.

What you get

Both listings are two headlamps in one box, both rechargeable, both with a motion-sensor (hand-wave) mode and a red light, and both ship from Amazon.

  • LHKNL 2-pack (B08D66HCXW): $15.99 (list $19.99). The seller lists a 1500mAh battery, 4–10 hours per charge depending on mode, IPX4, 8 modes, a lamp head that tilts 60Β°, and a weight of 1.87 oz. You can hold the button for 3 seconds to shut it off from any mode. Sold by LHKNL HOME. 4.5 stars from 37,455 ratings.
  • Blukar 2-pack (B0D3VDXB19): $13.49 (list $14.99). The seller lists "2000L," a combined spot (XPG) and flood (COB) beam, stepless dimming from 100% to 30%, 1200mAh, USB-C charging in 2–3 hours, 3.5–5 hours of runtime, IPX5, and 8 modes. Sold by MatriCom. 4.6 stars from 14,911 ratings.

Take the "2000L" with a grain of salt. Budget headlamps rarely publish a tested ANSI lumen figure, and I won't make one up.

How they fit Denver use

Wet trails and snow: IPX4 means splash resistance. IPX5 adds resistance to water jets. For snowy evening runs or a rainy campsite, Blukar's rating gives you a little more margin on paper.

Long nights: LHKNL lists the bigger battery and up to 10 hours on a low mode. If you're out all night, or for a hut trip where you won't charge, that's the spec I'd care about. Blukar's listed 3.5–5 hours is fine for a run or a dog walk, but you'll be charging it more often.

Charging: Blukar lists USB-C, so it shares a cable with most phones and battery banks. LHKNL's listing doesn't name its port, so check the photos before you buy if you only carry USB-C.

Beam: Blukar's spot-plus-flood setup is handy on singletrack, where you want to see far down the trail and also see your feet. Tilt and fit matter too, and LHKNL lists a 60Β° tilting head and a weight under 2 oz.

Who should buy which

  • Buy the Blukar at $13.49 if you mostly need light for runs, dog walks, and camp chores, you want USB-C, and you'd like the better water rating. It costs less and the reviews are slightly higher.
  • Buy the LHKNL at $15.99 if runtime matters more than price. The listed 1500mAh and up to 10 hours are worth $1.25 more per lamp for longer nights out.

Both are two-packs, so either way one lamp can live in the car and the other in your pack.
