I grew up with this film it got me into Paul Ruben as pee wee Herman and then later CBS moring playhouse show . This legendary director debut tim burton this story of pee wee Herman n his bike he loves with his heart and his neighbor who not so nice plays rich brat Francis wants his bike and one day pee wee goes to bike shop n magic shop and returns to bike it goes missing and then start adventure to find stolen or missing bike it begins adventure . Criterion collection was gracious enough get this classic for first time 4k n Blu-ray upgrade this classic 80 movie pic quality is sharp n audio not Dolby atmos but 5.1 sound which sounds not too bad this better dvd n pervious Blu-ray extra not on either release. Commentary by Danny elfman about music and commentary by Tim Burton n pee wee Herman other extra . 1985 movie this one was fun n remember for years by fans n new ones discovered it . Rip pee wee Herman thank u criterion for this wonderful love u given to this classic we all grown up to love with upgrade .
