I researched lots of blenders, looking for one that would be easy for an elderly family member to use. Most blenders have some sort of twist to lock component, are too heavy/big, or aren't easy to clean. This one is perfect for someone who doesn't have strong hands/wrists or has arthritis/osteoporosis. No twist mechanic needed here - just put the tumbler on the base and push down. This has been game changing for my elderly family member, allowing her to be self sufficient when grinding up her food.I can also confirm it grinds up anything (meat, veggies, etc.) as fine as you would like. Pro tip - if you want it really fine, release and push down again multiple times instead of just holding it down.Also like that it's not heavy, easy to clean, and comes with two cups with the interchangeable lids. This is really the perfect blender and the price point was very reasonable.
