These are very nice pens. No smearing; ink dries rapidly. The ink and writing feel 'smooth' and I have not experienced any ink 'globs' after writing. The pastel colors are cute, but I wish they were two-toned or tri-colored like I also have in a gel ink. The finger grip is soft, as is the entire pen, so it's very comfortable to use, especially if you have trouble with your hands such as arthritis or painful fingers. I'd highly recommend these pens - and the pricing is quite reasonable.
