Finally got to sit and listen to After Hours, Richard Marx' new album of great American songbook standards and jazzy swingy new compositions. Just makes me nostalgic for a time I never lived in. Like songs from Fallout. I was raised by my grandparents, and these songs remind me of them, either from hearing them in my Poppy's Buick, or just that general feeling. I'm sure they would be surprised at the musical direction this took, but they would have enjoyed it. I don't know if this album will be a daily driver, but it's fun.Favorites include Days of You, and Fly Me To The Moon.
